In addition to preparing the altar for weekly services and the sanctuary for different seasons of the Church, the Altar Guild works on various projects to support the life of the congregation and to extend our Christian mission into the community. In their monthly meetings, Altar Guild members might be planning potlucks for the congregation, an activity for youth from shelters in the area, or soup for a community outreach program. Altar Guilds makes donations to local charities from funds the group raises.
