Tell me about attending the church for the first time. What is it like?
Worship in the Pine Hall Lutheran Church sanctuary is a truly spiritual experience in pews that are bathed in the light of large stained glass windows depicting biblical messages. This traditional setting is part of a building which also offers modern gathering areas and facilities to encourage the interactions that are part of the Christian experience.
What about my kids?
We welcome children of all ages in our worship. As an older congregation, we love the spontaneity of even the youngest. At the same time, we understand that there are times when parents are distracted by their fussy little person. For those times, we have a space near the sanctuary which allows parents to monitor the service through installed speakers while young ones check out the room's toy box.
Where do I park?
Parking is open, plentiful and easily accessed from one of State College's main thoroughfares. The church is close enough to town to be convenient but far enough from downtown traffic for a stress-free Sunday morning.
What do I wear?
On Sunday morning, comfortable dress is the norm, but folks dress in all different ways.
How can I get connected?
Whether you carefully plan your visit or come on the spur of the spiritual moment, you will be welcomed by folks who are glad to see you. They'll answer your questions and encourage you to feel at home. Please come and join us!
